    MONUMENTS

The Cathedral, the Royal Chapel, the Cartuja Monastery are all great referents of religious art in Spain.

In Granada we have a number of monuments of religious character: so, the Cathedral, the Royal Chapel, the Cartuja are referents of unquestionable interest, as are the San Jeronimo Monastery, the San Juan de Dios Basilica or the Nuestra Señora de las Angustias Basilica.

Either way, many are the references of civil character that are just as recommendable as the aforementioned ones: the Madrasa, the Chapiz Palace, the Bañuelo arabic baths, the Dar-al-Horra Palace, El Aljibe del Rey (The Kings Well) and the Sacromonte caves are historic and cultural key locations to get to really know the authentic city of Granada.

These buildings are at the same time a third urban element that we always offer during our visits through the old city quarters and the lookout points.

The opening hours of certain locations demand that we pay close attention to them when booking city tours.

We offer the theme visit to all and every one of the aforementioned monuments of the city with specialists.

THE ALBAICÍN: Granada has an ancient quarter that romantic legends feed from, magical walks through the labyrinth of streets of the old arabic medina, cypresses and splendid lookout points. its cármenes or mansions hold within impassable walls, dreamlike gardens and views to the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada.

    THE SACROMONTE
(The Sacred Hill): The other location greatly hailed by curious hikers is farther away from the walls, facing the white generalife, with its cave houses and its always merry flamenco gypsy nights this old gypsy district is the one of the zambras and the vereas (typical gypsy dances originating from Granada).

    CENTRO SAGRARIO AND REALEJO
: The first renaissance cathedral in Spain is surrounded by the Capilla Real (Royal Chapel), the old madrasa, the Bib-Rambla Square, and the ancient Alcaiceria (silk market). in the Realejo there are some highlighted locations, El Corral del Carbón (The Coal Corral, a 13th century inn), the City Hall, the Royal Quarter of Santo Domingo, and a number of architectonic jewels, gardens, and emblematic places.

THE LOOKOUT POINTS: Are primary elements in the visit to the city. both those of the Albaicin, as those of the Realejo and the Sacromonte offer classic panoramic views that all visitors must take the chance to enjoy.

Other civil and religious monuments enrich these visits that could not be accomplished fully even in a four day stay.
