The Alpujarras
The Alpujarras Tour for individuals starts in Granada. On the motorway for 30 minutes we turn off at the exit to the region of Valle de Lecrín. The access is through the canyon over which the Nasrid bridge "Puente del Tablate" still stands. This centenary monument reminds us that the access to this area is difficult, and therefore, the etymological idea of Alpujarras, as the "Indomitable" or impossible to conquer area, is justified.

The melting snow melt flows through infinite channels into the very bowels of the rocky massif of the Sierra Nevada. We consider it essential to visit Lanjarón, capital of water, gateway between the Lecrín valley and the Alpujarra Baja. We always go to the valley of the river Poqueira, where we can see Pampaneira, Bubión and Capileira. With time there is also the Tahá de Pitres, Pórtugos, Busquistar, Capilerilla, Trevélez, Ferreirola, Atalbéitar and so many other places that it is necessary, for lovers of rural life, to organise stays with overnight stays in order to enjoy the region in all its angles and in all its extension.
